We welcome you to enjoy a slice of Michigan Paradise. The lapping waves of Lake Huron beckons you to enjoy the water during the day and the fire pits call to you to relax in the evening while gazing at the stars and reminiscing over old times gone by.
Our property boasts two homes within a short walking distance to each other(120ft.). Yes, you get both homes! The front beach house is 2100sq ft. spread out over two upper levels and a walkout basement. The main level has a full bathroom, 1 bedroom with queen size log bed, fireplace and living room, well equipped kitchen and eating area, and an enclosed sunporch overlooking Lake Huron and the beach. The second level contains the master bedroom with queen size log bed, private small deck overlooking the woods, master bathroom with an entrance from the bedroom and a second entrance from the hallway, and a bonus room with a twin over full log bunk bed. The finished walkout basement faces the beach and contains a fireplace, pool table, small bar with 4 swivel bar chairs. The basement has extra seating in front of the large TV with a Direct TV Package (no need to miss that game) for your viewing pleasure or video games if you so choose. The beach house also has internet Wi-Fi and a phone for local calls. Plenty of board games for family time with the kids or to just relive your youth
The second house is a short walk (just over 100feet) from the beach house. We call it the chalet and it is a 1000sq ft two story home. On the main level, you have a large bedroom with a queen size log bed, a full bathroom, open kitchen, eating area, living room, along with a slider door to the deck that faces the lake with comfortable seating to relax in. The second level consists of an open loft, master bedroom with a queen-sized log bed and an attached 3/4 bathroom.
Happily, we find we rarely leave the beach but if you do find yourself in an adventurous mood you may like to know that Mackinaw, Cheboygan, Rogers City, Indian River, Petoskey, Harbor Springs and many more points of interest are just a short drive away. Many of them have several festivals throughout the year that you may find intriguing and interesting.
We provide many essentials and extras that will make your trip more enjoyable. Such as plenty of chairs for the beach, large cooler to store food and drinks while down on the beach or by the fire. Coffee makers with carafes to bring a pot of coffee outside to enjoy the sunrise or sunset with. TVs to enjoy a movie on as well as plenty of board games and decks of cards to entertain with. Beach games such as bocce ball and corn hole boards.
Remember that there are outdoor gas grills at both homes for your convenience. We offer plenty of firewood for your evenings on the beach. We have installed an outdoor shower to rinse the sand off before entering the home. We have a Bluetooth receiver and speakers set up for your enjoyment. You will be able to listen to the music while on the beach. A large teak outdoor dining table with umbrella so you can relax while on the beach with your family and friends.
Please be sure to bring beach towels, toiletries, extra paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, laundry soap, dish soap and hand soap as limited quantities are supplied.
Kitchen is well stocked with gadgets, pans etc. Note that we have new heating and air in both homes as well as Direct TV.
If you find that your group would like to rent Kayaks, we have those available for rent along with paddles and vests. Please inquire if you are interested.
